PROPOSAL COORDINATOR

General Summary:

The Proposal Coordinator supports the proposal, marketing, communication, and business development functions of the firm. The Proposal Coordinator works closely with the Director of Business Development, the Marketing Manager, and the Executive Team. This individual is expected to have strong organization skills, and will be responsible for handling work assignments in a positive, logical, calm, and efficient manner. Ideally, the candidate will be from the Metropolitan Philadelphia, New York, or New Jersey area. 

Duties:

  • Support the proposal team in the preparation of submissions, including, but not limited to: administrative forms, resumes, project profiles, and firm overviews.
  • Coordinate with teaming partners, internal stakeholders, and others.
  • Participate in proposal kick-off meetings and Go-No Go evaluations.
  • Generate reports in MS Excel and Deltek VantagePoint related to proposal performance measurement statistics.
  • Track, record, assign, and monitor completion of teaming details, client requests, assignments, due dates, etc., in databases.
  • Coordinate with Management team as related to administrative documents (insurance specimen, DBE/WBE/SBE certs, etc.).
  • Subscribe to and track RFP search sites.
  • Attend pre-proposal meetings.
  • Outline RFPs upon request.
  • Facilitate the creation of new project sheets.
  • QA/QC and edit client and internal communications, content, etc.
  • Perform market research.
  • Assist with business processes.
  • Create brilliant graphics to tell the Marine Tiger story.
  • Other duties as assigned (special projects).

Educational Background and Related Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or similar required.
  • Minimum work experience: three to seven years.
  • Involvement in the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) or other relevant professional associations a plus.

Job Title: Project Engineer – (Teaneck, NJ)

Job Duties: Handle the project database through ProCore, SharePoint and Primavera. Review, evaluate and monitor the construction schedule. Read and interpret construction plans and shop drawings for Nassau County  DPW projects. Analyze civil survey reports, drawings, and project plans. Review contractor requisitions. Prepare correspondence letters for the Commissioner of Nassau County. Review and process subcontractors and vendor for County approval. Conduct field inspections for quality assurance. Prepare executive reports for the County and assist the Resident Engineer in day-to-day activities to assure timely completion of the projects.

Rate of Pay: $86,113.00 per annum.

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced resilience and emergency preparedness consultant to join our nationwide team. This position is responsible for all-hazards risk assessment, mitigation planning, and development of policies and procedures on behalf of critical infrastructure clients. This role is remote and will support nationwide projects with other team members.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform asset-based risk assessments focusing on climate change threats, malevolent threats, natural hazards, and other dependency and technology hazards.
  • Develop strategic, operational, and tactical plans to reduce risk, increase resilience, and foster effective emergency preparedness.
  • Lead multi-agency, multi-discipline planning processes.
  • Collaborate with private and public sector agencies and other stakeholders to develop coordinated strategies and to align expectations regarding roles and responsibilities.
  • Manage project delivery and resources.
  • Facilitate virtual and in person planning meetings.

Qualifications

  • Master’s in Business Administration, Emergency Management, or related field or Bachelor’s with 2 additional years of relevant resilience, emergency preparedness, and operations experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years of consulting experience, public sector or public agency preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating policy and plans in emergency management, resilience, and sustainability in the private and public sectors.
  • 5+ years of experience working collaboratively with a broad base of stakeholders including senior and elected officials.
  • Demonstrated understanding of national preparedness doctrine including the National Planning Frameworks, Threat and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (THIRA) methodology, National Incident Management System, and Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program.
  • Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.

Pay Range

Multiple factors are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and competencies that align to the specified role, education, and certifications. The pay range for this position is:

$90,000 – $135,000

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Planning, Business / Public Administration, Engineering, or fields related to transportation or technology from an accredited college or university. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in the transportation industry
  • 5+ years of consulting experience
  • Ability to leverage strong business development skills
  • Ability to multitask, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
