Position Responsibilities

The selected candidate will lead a broad array of asset management projects including facilitating workshops, documenting current and new processes and technology initiatives, and performing maturity and gap assessments against ISO and industry standards, in a customer-oriented environment where attention to detail is critical. The candidate’s demonstrated ability to provide organizational leadership, communicate, and collaborate will be a key to success in this role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gather and document business processes to support the development and implementation of customer enterprise asset management strategy and business plans
  • Lead requirements capturing sessions, including stakeholder workshops, driving consensus across departments and challenging where necessary
  • Shepherd cross-functional teams through all project phases from conception and initiation, planning, execution, performance/monitoring and project closure
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true project requirements
  • Manage project requirements, develop project deliverables, perform status reporting, risk and issue tracking
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and provide exceptional stakeholder communications ensuring project deliverables meet the client’s needs.
  • Identify project opportunities for MTT to provide additional services
  • Ensure highest quality standards in all project deliverables
  • Actively contribute to Asset Management, Transit, Transportation or similar industry group working groups, committees or subcommittees.
  • Identify business development opportunities utilizing personal and professional network in the asset management community

Qualifications

Candidates must present the following qualifications to be considered eligible for this position:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation, Planning, Business / Public Administration, Engineering, Operations Research, or fields related to transportation and asset management from an accredited college or university.
  • At least ten years of relevant work experience in enterprise asset management in an executive capacity

Ideal candidates will present the following profile:

  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively, both orally and in writing.
  • Working knowledge of infrastructure assets and operations, preferably in transit/transportation
  • Working knowledge of asset lifecycle management
  • Knowledge of asset hierarchy concepts
  • Experience with Enterprise Asset Management Information Systems as a user, maintenance manager, implementer or other related capacity
  • Experience facilitating client workshops to collect information and develop task deliverables including process flow charts, writing operating procedures, assessment reports, and end-user documentation (e.g., user guides)
  • Experience developing / recommending relevant key performance indicators and analyzing relevant data

TECHNOLOGY PROJECT MANAGER

Marine Tiger Technologies is seeking a Project Manager with significant experience leading the implementation of systems and applications.  Experience in transit and transportation preferred however other large-scale infrastructure industry experience, such as airports, and water & power utilities, will be considered. 

Position Responsibilities 

The selected candidate will lead a broad array of project tasks including the development of project charters, project management plans, risk and contingency management, communications management, change management, issue tracking, stakeholder engagement, status reporting and managing customer expectations. The candidate’s demonstrated ability to provide organizational leadership, communicate, and collaborate will be a key to success in this role. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and manage plans and schedules required for the successful execution of technology implementation and integration projects 
  • Lead stakeholder engagement ensuring project objectives are met and budgets and schedules are maintained. 
  • Drive cross-functional teams through all project phases from conception and initiation, planning, execution, performance / monitoring and project closure 
  • Lead systems and data integration efforts and manage vendor activities

  • At least seven years of relevant work experience in public sector or management consulting project management 
  • Current PMP Certification

    • Day-to-day program support activities include providing design documents, and cost estimates for critical infrastructure communication systems, including local area networks, telephones, CCTV, intrusion and access control, fire alarms, public address, passenger information reader signs, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), automatic highway grade crossing warning systems, GPS time synchronization systems, and all associated conduit and cabling infrastructure.
